A high percentage of businesses don’t survive as independent entities. This applies to small and medium businesses, as well as large multi billion dollar enterprises. Remember some of the leaders in their space – the original AT&T, Woolworth, Kodak, Atari, DeLorean, Polaroid, Hummer, Nokia – who are no longer around? Size doesn’t guarantee success, only a successful strategy coupled with the right execution does. Many companies struggle in this area and teeter on the brink of failure.
