How do I make the most out of networking events?  How do I leverage technology to build my network?  Amy Beth Herman recognizes that many of us would prefer to do our work and are not that interested in doing what is required to build a professional network.  We just want to be less bad at it.  Things change and a professional network can make a long term difference in our careers.

  • How to make the most out of in-person networking opportunities
  • How to effectively use professional social media like Linked In
  • How about all the other social media?

Amy Beth Herman is a long time member of SIM-Next, (formerly RMIMA). She is a Senior Business Development Manager with VeriCour helping local executives and IT professionals connect to new exciting career opportunities. Amy Beth’s personal and professional mission is to connect people. This could be related to her career but she also enjoys connecting good people for dates, home services and more. Amy Beth’s passion for networking started when she managed membership for the Colorado Technology Association. Her goal of this presentation is to give attendees a few extra tricks that they can use to grow their network to help them be the best version of themselves.
